Every story is a trunk. You choose the branch.
The short version: Authors publish full books, in the open. Any reader can cut in at any page and write where the story goes next — and anyone else can fork that too. No gatekeepers, no single ending. The platform isn't built yet. One dollar a month gets it built and puts your name on it as one of the people who started it.
How forking works
One — Read the trunk. Every book starts as one continuous text, published openly by its author, page by page.
Two — Cut in anywhere. Pick any point in any version and mark it as your fork. Everything before that page stays exactly as written.
Three — Write your branch. Continue the story your way. Your branch is a full, independent version from that page forward.
Four — Others fork you. Your branch becomes forkable too. The tree keeps growing, and every path back to the original stays intact.
Brands sponsor the branches
$500 for the best continuation branch of a sponsored trunk story, chosen by reader votes. A sponsor picks a trunk story and puts up a prize pool for whichever branch the community likes best — a bounty on a story's next chapter, judged by readers.
